ABOUT ME

• Over the past 9 years I have worked as a clinical psychologist in government services, public and private hospitals, primary schools, community health counselling services, rehabilitation services and private practice.

• My experiences have highlighted patterns of systemic issues and social and cultural narratives which perpetuate disempowerment. I believe health care providers can positively impact mental health and well-being by engaging in consciousness raising and relying upon the unique wisdom people bring to their own care.

• I respect and welcome all bodies of all races, sexes, gender identities and sexual preferences. My personal work in this area is ongoing and I strive to improve by continuing to challenge my own biases and acknowledge my privilege.
